Born and bred in Alice Springs, NT, Lisa-Marie moved to Ballarat, VIC to study at the University of Ballarat, Arts Academy, leaving with a Bachelor of Arts in 2011. Since her graduation, Lisa-Marie has worked both on and off the stage for organizations such as the Adelaide Fringe, the Alice Desert Festival and the Araluen Arts Centre.

She has had the privelige to work within the Australian musical, cabaret and TV scenes telling a vast range of stories.

In 2013, she debuted her first solo cabaret work, Blue Soul, Red Heart, in Alice Springs.  The show is a very personal look at her battle with anxiety and depression and seeks to break down some of the isolation of mental illness.

Lisa-Marie continues to write cabaret, showcasing stories as varied as relationships, social media and fitness, highlight her unique from her view of life.  She has been labelled a “confident and promising performer” by the Adelaide Theatre Guide with her strongest skills being “her self-deprecating and incisive writing and her immediate engagement with the audience.”  The Fringe Review have labelled her “voice… good enough for lead singer in any cabaret.”

Lisa-Marie also has a Graduate Diploma in Arts and Cultural Management and loves working behind the scenes.  She is passionate about the importance of arts within Australia’s cultural identity, and enjoys being able to help others show-off for their moment in the spotlight.
